About Me

Mynerva Archer is an author and death doula located in Boulder County, CO. Raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in rural Upstate New York, Archer frequently writes about death, dying, and being raised in a high-control religion. From fear to resilience, Archer understands the grieving process of unlearning a destructive faith in order to live their truth.

Archer completed their death doula certification through IAP Career College and is a member of NEDA (National End of Life Doula Alliance.) Archer spent 12 years working in the non-profit sector at organizations such as Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York and CNY Fair Housing, and currently serves on the board of Boulder Food Rescue.

In their free time, you can find Mynerva climbing in the mountains, sipping a crisp Diet Coke, or reading a book next to their black cat.
