Death & Dying
Providing support and advocacy is one of the core tenets of my practice. In times where I have felt voiceless, I have looked to others to help me voice my concerns or fears, and this is the role I play for both the dying and their families. I will be your eyes, ears, and voice. My ultimate goal is to provide you with a sense of safety and autonomy through your process.
As your death doula, my most important job is to listen. I want to ensure I understand your needs, fears, and hopes when it comes to your end-of-life care. Whether you are looking to create a legacy project about your incredible life, need help connecting with service providers for end-of-life care, or any of the in-betweens when facing death, I want to support you on your journey. As someone diagnosed with a life-threatening autoimmune disorder in the early 20s, I know what it is like to play the long-game of grief, and it has prepared me to step into this role as your advocate and support.
Please note: This service is not mental health therapy, nor do I provide mental health or any medical services. If you identify the need for mental health support, I will ensure I connect you with the right provider. I do not dispense medication, nor am I involved in medication management or direct care. While I do provide light home management and light cleaning as part of this service, I will help connect you with agencies that provide direct personal care.
